Who are we?

Millstone Gardens is a landscape & masonry construction company owned and operated by Louis Battista.

Lou is Millstone Gardens' Principal and lead designer. He has over 20 years experience in residential landscape design and installation on the Main Line and surrounding Philadelphia suburbs, and has degrees in landscape design and horticultural care from Temple University.

How did Millstone Gardens come to be?

In his years working for other companies, Lou realized that there were areas that were lacking when it comes to design and plant care. An avid gardener himself, Lou spends much of his time in his own gardens, building patios, testing the plants he uses in his clients' designs, and honing his garden caretaking skills. Lou likes nothing better than to provide clients with landscapes that can be enjoyed for years.

Lou has always valued his relationships with his customers and strives to exceed their expectations. With experience in project management & daily field operations, he and his team work hard to provide clients exceptional quality and value.

Millstone Gardens was born from Lou's desire to provide exceptional design/build services along with specialized maintenance programs for the discerning client.
